MEQ

Codex marines, Space Wolves, Blood Angels, Dark Angels, Black Templars, Chaos Marines, Sisters of Battle, Grey Knights, Necrons.

Basically high armour elite armies with access to A14 vehicles (Land Raiders, Monoliths).

As an aside, tailoring a non-MEQ army for taking on and killing MEQ at tourney is a good idea due to the high number of these armies you will encounter.

Any more questions?

I realize that you already apologized, but this thread reminded me of something I see all the time on Dakka.

It would be nice if people weren't so quuick to eye-roll, and act put out and so forth when someone asks a simple question, even one that might be obvious to many of us, and especially when they are obviously new to Dakka/wargaming/etc.

Perhaps all the energy wasted posting a snide comment or cleverly poking a finger at someone's "newbness"could be put into simply answering the question. I know it is tough to be nice on the interwebz, but a little effort at times would be refreshing...

The same could be said for posters that post questions without having the patience to use the Search Function (which aren't always that great, but should be tried). Sometimes several threads that obviously concerns the same question are even on the same page.
Is asking that the OP looks at...say, the first three pages in the YMDC forum too much?

Also FAQs aren't exactly a strange and foreign concept these days.

Some times I'd rather use the time to tell the OP how to obtain this (and future) answers rather than simply give the answer. Teach a man to fish and all that.

I understand that your attitude is the prevailing one, but it IS ok to simly be nice on occassion. When i see someone with 61 posts I don't usually feel the need to prove my interwebz supperiority...

I'm just sayin...

Pfff, people ARE nice on occasion. But what, is everyone supposed to pander to those who wont even do a simple search before asking a rather silly question? No offence to the OP here, of course, I was confused about this myself at one point

Now I can understand saying people should be nice before they go in for eye-rolling and scathing sarcasm, but tbh... being nice to people when they do silly, poorly thought out things simply because they don't want to put in any effort is just encouraging them to do it again and if anything I think there's too much of that going around

Edit: and post count is certainly no excuse for not using common sense, either -.-

It is a simple call for a little kindness once in a while.

I expect it to be quickly and fully ignored.

Carry on internet ...

It was a reasonable question, as already mentioned above, sometimes for whatever reason, the 'hover over' doesn't work.

Now, question was asked, question got answered.

Edit: y'know what, to hell with it, it's late and I'm irritable and people are never going to get it anyway. I'm just going to bed.

So you can just ignore this post...

Oh and for future reference TEQ = Terminators and their Equivalents, GEQ = Imperial Guard and their Equivalents... etc. etc.

It is the correct thing to do.

It is also possible to inform people of their errors/lack of effort/etc. without being a dick about it.

It often seems like peopel are falling all over themselves to post the snarkiest rebuke or meme pic and with The desire to actually "educate" or foster independence secondary to simply being an ass to someone via the anonimity of the internets...

Point being we were all clueless about something at some point in our lives and we didn't spring into existance knowing the inner workings of everything we have or might come into contact with: perspective and all that.

regardless, I don't know that there is much more to say about this, so I will bow out of this thread and leave you with the internets already in progress...

It's a two-part plumbing epoxy, which when combined, forms a pliable green putty which can be used to sculpt miniatures and bits thereof (incidentally, this is where the phrase "greens" comes from, in reference to original models in development which will be used to form a mold).

It can be bought in a tape for about 13 cents a gram ($13/98 grams), or you can get it from Games Workshop, which thoughtfully repackages for you at a mere 400% markup (50 cents a gram - $10/20 grams).

It's very sticky to work with initially, and you have to keep your tools wet to use it. It gets less sticky as it dries, so there is a working period that's optimal. It air dries pretty quickly. If I recall correctly, it lasts longer in a refrigerator. There are alternatives to it, such as Procreate which have similar properties but are somewhat less sticky at first.
