What happens is we show up and have only two tables but 4-6 folks playing so we tend to team up. One game was 1k each lists 2 SM, 1 IG vs 3 Dark Eldar and this week was a 1.5k Dark Angel player and my 1.5k vanilla marines vs 1k each of Tau, IG, and Orks. I'm looking to make a fun list that shouldn't have any problems being kill-tastic while still fielding my fav two dreadnoughts. Any C&C will be greatly appreciated!!!

IIRC, the Assault Sergeant can only take a combat shield.

No he can take a Storm Shield and I like the list. The only thing I would change may be losing a HK missile to give both tac squads melta bombs. I mean you gave one squad a razorback so they'll be walking/assaulted anyway. Any walker unit will easily kill 5 marines and a MB will help push units away.

The Assault squad is really a waste. 5 MEQs will get shot down in an instant and even if they do get a charge you run a high risk of loosing your 70pts Sarge before he gets to swing.

What is the poing behind the MotF? You would be better of with a Libby.

I have two full tac squads, one half squad, a second hvy bolter Razorback, Rifle Dread, Las/Mis dread, Ironclad, regular MoTF, Las pred with magnetized side sponsons, a black reach dread, a wolf-lord on a T-wolf, and a handfull of servitors.

If I could bitz build a librarian what should I put on him? Wargear/power wise?

How about:

260 2 razorback 5 man tactical squads
155 MotF bike+gun
105 dread
125 dread
155 dread 2HKs
145 dread

This is a fun list but also killy. You need your partner to supply scoring units but 4 dreads and 2 razorbacks should work well with other armies, it has a nice bit of target saturation and nice amount of firepower with cc options included.

Assault marines are rubbish at killing and 5 men with a ML is cute and cheap but I feel dilutes your list too much. If you imagine building a 2000pt list you would go for your 4 dreads and then think about how to fit in troops and support in the other 1000pts, the other 1000 pts hopefully is the guy/girl you are teamed with.

Just take a plain Libby for 100pts. As for powers I usually go for Avenger and Null Zone.

As for a list, assuming you can change weapons on the RB I would consider something like this.

HQ:
Libby (NullZone+Avenger) = 100

Troops:
10xTacticals (MM+MG+Combi-M) = 185
Rhino = 35

10xTacticals (ML+Flamer+Combi-F) = 180
Razorback (TL-AC) = 75

Elites:
Ironclad (2xHK, MG+HF) = 165

Dread (2xTL-Auto) = 125

Dread (TL-LasCannon) = 135

If you can change the weapon on the RB then simply drop it for a PF on the Melta squad and a ML on the LasCannon dread.

May I ask why Null Zone? Is there alot of lists that are heavy with the Inv. saves?

Deathwing, loganwing, GK terminator/paladin armies. The guy who takes 2x5 bolter marines and crams the rest of his points with TH/SS goes here too.

Wasn't argueing was just curious I hit up mostly IG so I don't see much invlu. But the Dark Eldar do pack them and there a few of those players round here. Anywho...

Thanks for the advice. I'm gonna check my bitz to throw a libby together and print both suggested lists out, gotta say I like the dread one the most cause I love walkers.
