Hello, Dakka. Now, I was rummaging around the attic today, and found a spot of where my father used to keep his old Warhammer 40k Books. Now, I found a box, which contained the Imperial Armour, Badab War part 1, and part 2. I did a quick read through, and found the Astral claws to be very nice. So, would I be able to field an Astral Claws army using some GW models? I would definetly use FW models in it, too. I thought of this as I have a lot of NOS Space marine sets. So, would I be able to field an Astral Clwas army using both GW, and FW models?

...Yes. Why wouldn't you be able to...?

Also, The Badab War books are not even a year old... Not really "Old warhammer books"

Really? I don't really have any IA books, nor do I look at them on FW. So, these are my first ones.

Ogryn is posting from far into the future.

The Astral Claws are a really cool chapter, You can use GW plastic marines w/FW addons like shoulder pads. They're no different than your average C:SM chapter, so you'll be fine rules wise (using them in tournaments and such). IF you're just playing with friends, tell them you want to build using the specifications in IA 9 and 10.

Thanks, I was hoping to use the Badab war rules for them. Would this be okay? Anyways, thanks for the links, too.
