I know Tankbustas have to attempt to shoot at or assault a vehicle if one is in their line of sight. But what if there is more than one target available? There is no 'closest' statement in the Glory Hogs Rule, so I guess I can choose which one to shoot at or assault? Even if that means not shooting or assaulting a vehicle that is definitely in range and in order to attempt to go after one that might not be? My tactical use for this is 1) to have an option to shoot at a better target and 2) 'split' the unit's fire with Bomb Squigs, who have to attack the nearest enemy vehicle. Thoughts?

I don't think it is in the spirit of the rules, but that has no place in YMDC Legal, yes. The only stipulation of Glory Hogs is LOS.

Because the spirit of the rules could also be that they're trying to go after the biggest vehicle around! Like if a Land Raider was slightly further away than a rhino, and both in LoS, you could shoot/assault the Land Raider instead.

Honestly, the rule makes no stipulation as to assaulting/shooting the nearest/closest vehicles, just that you must attempt to shoot/assault if you can draw LoS to any vehicle.

You can attempt to shoot / assault any vehicle in LOS, but you must pick one. There is no requirement to pick the nearest.
