I mixed up the Crisis suit loadouts so I could spread wound allocation, without giving up much functionality (IMO). I figure I can keep the Devilfish'd Fire Warriors in reserve, along with an outflanking Kroot, bubble wrap the Broadsides in Kroot, infiltrate the last Kroot squad, and start with one FW team who can steal the Pathfinder's fish. Everything else does it's AV thing early-game, which is a lot of AV pain at very long range, and pop enough transports that the Helios suits and regular fire can start whittling down the foot troops. 2x Hammerheads instead of more Broadsides gives less anti-vehicle, but does provide some very good anti-horde. The list is obviously focused more against MEQ armies, because that's what you see the most of.

I think this list is quite good. In my Tau list there are only small personal changes but otherwise your list and mine are nearly the same. You have the Kroot wraps, Deathrains, Broadsides and some Pathfinders, the core units of a Tau army these days. I'd only add more pathfinders, because they're nice and cheap but absolutely essential for focus fire. Good luck with Tau!

Pathfinders are good, but the markerlights hit so randomly that I always end up with too many hits to use on a single unit effectively, or not enough to strip cover and add BS at the same time. They end up getting assaulted early on half the time, too. Running 2 squads still ends up being too unreliable for the rest of my army to rely on markerlight support consistently, so I don't commit that heavily to the little guys anymore.

Hammerheads are great, but I personally like broadside squads more and I think with a squad of 3 you can do more and survive longer with 3 squads of these, then a hammerhead.
