So you have a typical double wing army...bikes with teleport homers and lots of scoring terminators.
On Turn 1 half the termies come in. Is their a set priority for this?
IE: can the bikes first turbo-boost 24" towards the enemy lines, THEN have the termies drop in using the homers (ensuring I'm in your face on turn 2)?

Life isn't fair. But wouldn't it be worse if Life were fair, and all of the really terrible things that happen to us were because we deserved them?

Not sure but I think if you read through it the key is that your Ravenwing goes with a scout move which is described as happening BEFORE turn 1 - with all the restriction on scout moving. The deathwing deployment happens DURING your first turn. Sadly I think DA codex prohibits you from scout moving with turbo-boost unless that got FAQ'ed away.

There is a set priority for this, it is in the reserves rules. Rolling for reserves, and reserves entrance onto the table is done before any other models are moved(brb page 94, under the heading "rolling for reserves").

As such; you cannot move the bikes before you roll for(or automatically have) any reserves availability, nor their entrance onto the field(either walking on from normal board edge, deep-striking, or walking on from outflank).

Just to add in response to the above poster: ravenwing do have scouts, and the situation the above poster describes is normally correct; But they are still limited by their codex-specific negation of scout turbo-boosting.

This is my Rulebook. There are many Like it, but this one is mine. Without me, my rulebook is useless. Without my rulebook, I am useless.
Stop looking for buzz words and start reading the whole sentences.
