Sup guys. So im about to start on a custom squad of gk termies. I will be using microart studios cursader legs, gk termie arms, not 100% on what heads yet, and gk weapons maybe some conversions on the weapons. So anyhow... The microart studio legs are true scale so naturally I need some good torsos that will look good. I was thinking gk termie torsos, not sure how they will look on the legs, but was thinking about bulking them up a little bit by simply adding on some "waist" with greenstuffed. Might put a spacer in between the torso halfway and gs the gaps. Gotta test fit first before any actual modelling.

So the questions I bring to you guys... I would really like some info on size comparisons of scribor minitures torsos (ie Roman legionary torsos) how much "bigger" are these torsos? Any other torsos that would work well on the legs??
I will be using scribors shoulder pads and maybe some other bits.

I want these guys to be super elite gk termies. Decked out and imposing on the battlefield. I'll be using many other bits as well ie forge world purity seals, scribor stuff, microart studio, dark angels/black templar bits maybe even some empire flagelant pieces. The squad will be lead by my custom inquisitor with bionic leg (see my other thread on here).

Any help greatly appreciated. Once I get the pieces ill prob start a blog for you guys to check up on.
Some of my inspiration for this project comes from okidus blog on his lions pride dark angels squad were he uses microart studios cursader legs.

Any suggestions appreciated!!

they are overall a bit bigger I find, the distance between the chin and the belt is greater (the head isnt "set in" like on a termi torso) and they are a bit deeper, but the same width. GK terminator arms should work fine.

just my own experience with the Romans, I cant talk for the Spartans, though I imagine they are similar...

I have some of the scibor spartan torsos in cue for carapace armored veterans, I think size wise they are a good match for power armor/carapace armor

Thanks guys. Ya I was looking closely at the scibor torsos today and I agree--seems there better for true scale power armor/carapace armor. I saw someone that true-scaled a gk termie and still used the gk termie torso--legs where bulked up, gk torso was same-unchanged. So I can prob use it with minimal green stuffing on the waist to 'bulk' it up.
