This morning I submitted my phd leaving a large part of my life behind me. I'm also unemployed for the first time in my life so hope to start work soon. But first I need a rest, and I'm hoping to make some models again! My work has taken up large chunks of my time over recent years and the last few months have been a total no-go for modelling.

Now I think I can actually have a bit of free time again. I have a converted Inquisitor I want to paint and a Nurgle Sorcerer and other from FW. I have a Baneblade that never got finished and for something more serious a Sturmtiger kit to finish.

Right now, I feel exhausted, but that from here I'll be going in new directions and wanted to share!

Wouldn't that be Dr Howard A. Treesong PhD?

Gratz for managing to juggle a PhD and the horrors of Dakka without your brain imploding.

Not a Dr yet, I need to pass the 'viva' or interview stage in which I have to defend the work, and it may needs corrections/rewriting afterwards which is fairly normal. But otherwise I'm in a very strong position for having submitted. The absolute worst thing is not to submit, as that would fail me.

Eh, the market is flooded with people doing that; can't go 10 feet without someone offering to recombine some grass for food or spare change. Now an associates from an online art school is something that will take you places.

The only exception being that you specialised in weaponising said grass

I would have thought it unlikely unless Eldar/Humans have a common ancestor.

But there's always this.
