A few people I know are going and have been, but when I ask them what it's all about and what sort of events they have, they just say it's awesome. Anybody else have any more info?

i was there last year. its my yearly con due to proximity. its a 4 hour drive with the event IN the hotel, so its win win. its less of a buying event and more of a playing event. warmahordes mainline the event, with other games on the sidelines. its steampunkish and loads of cosplayers show up. i dont dress up, i go to play. if you can get a few friends in on the templecon reserved room than your solid.
