So this is a all comers list for my FLGS campaign. Its fluff is a multiple regiment Army Group. The regular guardsmen are from the 203rd Falcorian Regiment. The vets are from the 12th Pheltorian Mechanized Regiment, The Tanks are from the 22nd Delosi Armored Regiment, and the Manticore is from the 1st Nemoian Artillery Regiment. With air support from the 5427th Naval Aviation Squadron. And creed is Lord General Sir Davos Stark. So what do you think. I'm willing to make minor changes, but I dont have any more Vendettas or chimeras.

Forum rules state no listing of individual equipment, just list the squad's total. Your lists should look something like this...

Vets - 155pts
3x Melta guns, Chimera with hull HF

Any reason why your not making a blob? As much as I love Creed, if you blob up, how much do you really need him?

I figured I'd take advantage of the 4 orders per turn and have 4 infantry squads.

The ML are a bad idea not trying to be mean but a guarddsmans bs is not good enought to make it worth it, i can see a heavy weapons squad but as a rule of thumb for me its eather LC or AC the AC is the best weapon to put in a guardsmans hands; it not only makes them feel as tall as a space marine but it will effectivelly deal with troops and transports alike. And for an all+comers list the AC is the best from SM to M creatures it will eather slow them down or take them down. other then that the GL is good the cheap versitility is worth it other than that i think it looks good other than im a mech guy and well ya but gl

That used to be what my IG looks like.
Then i realized all it takes was one enemy unit to get into CC and cover the LOS for the rest of the army ( since its so large and cramped )

Autocannons would be better on those Platoons, Guard is about volume of fire power. You also need Commissars or else your squads will be running away or getting battered in close combat easily, you would be better to form them up into larger units.

Single tanks in the heavy support are not a good idea. This lets your opponent target prioritise easier. Take tanks in pairs.

Aye. Run the infantry squads as one large blob of 30-40 soldiers. if you want voxes you then only need one. Got for autocannons for the heavies, prob chuck some other special weapons in there as well - melta/GL. Add a commissar to make them stubborn.

Single hellhound, vendetta, demolisher etc.makes these targets stand out like a sore thumb. Run vendettas in pairs or not at all. Demolisher benefits from other targets that need to get close as well. If not, then just run a basic LRBT and enjoy the massive range.
