It was nice to meet you there! Thanks for that great report...who knew you could use a rail gun to club people in the head? Well played!

My Broadsides prefer to club people with their SMS, but each to their own I guess.

Nice report, but where were the Necrons?

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

Excerpt from "Seeress of Kell", Book Five of The Malloreon series by David Eddings.

Wow. I'm surprised you did so well with the lack of plasma on your suits. How do you get spamming missiles to work so well for you with all the high saves around?

Also love how those broadsides won combat!

Great match against DE (and great luck also, I suppose).

FNP Angels is a tough, tough matchup for plasma-lite Tau. You need some more fireknives, though I understand that you probably didn't take them in order to fit in more deathrain suits.

In future battles, take at least 1 unit of pathfinders. You're going to find them to be the "tervigons" or "KFF big meks" of the Tau army - a great support unit that no successful Tau army can do without (well, you could...but it'll be much easier with them).

Nick knows. Cover was huge for me on turn 1, and the only criticism I had of the list after our game was the lack of marker lights. Nick agreed; saying he would prefer to have them in but was somewhat limited by the models he was borrowing.
