Wow! I can't believe 6th Ed. came and went, just like that! That was fast. It hasn't even been 2 years yet and already we are into a new edition.

Ok, my 2nd battle report of 7th edition includes my first experience with the Maelstrom missions:

I hope you play your nids in 7th edition

I will (attempt to) proudly stomp on some of jy2s Space Mummies this weekend.

Jim always has fun battle reports, looking forward to seeing how they turn out, especially games with nids. Played Jim a few times this week and as always, a pleasure! Was interesting to see how Necrons have transitioned into 7th but Eldar are still as strong as ever IMO- scoring wave serpents; who's brilliant idea was that!?

Thanks for the games. It was an exhausting trip, but I am glad we got in some good games. Eldar are so good in this edition.

Looking toward to reading the details of how your and Mortevie's recent games went down. I was pretty excited when he told me you two were going to get some games in and they'd likely be Batreps.

Also, looking forward to how Commander Farsight's games went as as BAO games serve as a food look at how NOVA may be looking Meta wise and I'm planning on bring my FE.

The matchup between Mortetvie and I was sort of a rematch between Golden Throne champions, with me winning the 1st year and Adam winning the 2nd (and the last year). For that I brought out a no-holds-barred Necron army in a double-CAD game.

We actually had 2 7E games. More details will be revealed as I am currently working on my Necron battle report thread.

As for Commander_Farsight's list, let's just say his army actually counters my army very well. I brought Necron AV13 vehicle-spam. He brought a Farsight-bomb + suits, all of which were packing fusions. Let's just say, I was quite concerned in that game and with good reason. On Turn 2, he takes out all 3 of my annihilation barges!!! Ok....that's it for the spoilers.

A little story behind that. I had actually been getting PMs all week since you accepted my rematch. I chose the ones with the least profanity. I'll be keeping that there until I can say I have done so (how ever many years that will take )
