Hey guys! Just finished painting this guy up for my army, not the best painter so took my time with it, really good model to assemble and paint! (I do still need to paint the rim of the base in black tho) Also had a few issues with forge world but they sent me a free arm by way of an apology, so all good!! nehoos, feel free to C n C. I know some people dont like this model which is noted (nipping that in the butt first lol)

Ta!

Im curious as to why the paint on the guns doesn't match the paint on the body.

Nice work on the weathering, however these are my least favorite arms avalible.

though I'm not a fan of these new dreadnoughts at all, your painting and especially weathering is fantastic

I love the arms personally. There's just something about the huge ammo hoppers. Personally, I would look better on a twin-linked autocannon build, which I help they do.

The weathering on this model is fantastic. Well, really the entire thing is, but you know. Weathering.

Anyway The HB arms aren't my favorite either (I'm more partial to the conversion beamer or the Plasma cannons).

Thanks for the nice feedback guys

@Catyrpelius - I wasn't too sure on a good colour for the arms, so kinda went with the idea that most space marine bolters are red & didn't want him feeling left out

@Thousand Nuns - Yeah rust/dust/smoke etc was my first go at using MIG pigments, took abit of playing around but I've come to the conclusion that they're really good

Ta very much guys!

Excellent job. I like that the HB are red to match the regular bolters which I suppose are in your army. I also love the new Contemptor Dreads, I plan on getting at least 2 for my latest Pre-heresy fetish army...

Pretty sure they're all interchangeable if you look at the pics on the FW site you'll see the same arm on both sides of the dread.

@LunaHound , Yeah Thousand Nuns is correct , bolter arm comes in about 4/5 bits so its fairly poseable , with the ammo casing fitting either side. Ta for positive feedback guys
