Hello fellows, I have two draft guard lists of 1000pts here. Theyre built around the same core & then the shooty bits have been tweaked somewhat. Any C&C is appreciated.

Also, these are not intended to be high level competitive lists, so you know.

List 1

CCS. – 3 Plasma guns, Chimera, Carapace Armour: 170
Veterans – 3 meltaguns,– 100
Veterans – 3 plasma guns, Chimera – 170
Veterans –3 flamers, Chimera – 140
2 scout sentinels – multilasers – 70
Valkyrie - 100
Basilisk - 125

List 2

Overall, i like list 2 better. I have always been a fan of the Leman Russ

I can understand that you aren't going for competitiveness, but you can still make some squads more useful.

I can't say I like three flamers all piled into one transport that, presumably, has a heavy flamer of it's own. Unless you expect some kind of footguard or green tide-y stuff, I don't think that many templates would do you much good.

The melta-vets in the first list seem to be asking to get shot; without a chimera, all you have available to take down armor is a squad of footslogging T3 guys. Not the greatest idea.

If I had to pick one list to go for though, it would be the second one.
