If a unit has an IC attached to it and gets assaulted by Dark Eldar, how are Pain tokens calculated.

1. Unit and IC are wiped on the same Int Step? 1 or 2 Tokens earned? Does Int step matter so long as it is the same turn?

2. IC is killed in one turn, and the unit killed in a following turn? 1 or 2 Tokens earned?

How about if the kills are caused by shooting? I cannot find my codex so I can't quote exact text.

COvered by the FAQ, from memory. If you kill an IC you get a pain token. Gives you 2 pain tokens in total.

token are earned immediately when the unit dies, IC is seperate unit. 2 tokens

Here is the FAQ nosferatu referred to;

Q: Do you gain a pain token for each independent
character you kill, even if he is in a unit? (p25)
A: Yes, as long as he still counts as an independent
character.

And it makes no difference how the enemy unit is destroyed, shooting or in close combat, the unit that destroys the enemy immediately gains a pain token
