How about such list? Stomies can either out-flank with Arabian-guy or make a scout move and play kamikaze. Al`rahem make sure that enemies will fear clung to table ages, and can score all over the table. LRs and Maticore can pour a template shower at enemies pretty neatly and vets can give MEQs a very WARM welcome.

I'd drop the storm troopers for another squad of veterans. I'd also give the CCS 3 plasma and a medic or 4 plasma. You're not running a horde list so you don't need the standard. I'd give the veterans all meltas too. The LRBT doesn't need the forward Lascannon as the odds of you hitting with it doesn't justify the cost. I'd also give all the chimeras hull heavy flamers. Especially those that are outflanking with Al'Rahem. You will naturally be close to the enemy and thus the HF can do more damage.

BT uses the Codex Astartes as toilet paper. They’re an Imp Fist successor, recruit from multiple planets, and are known to be the largest Chapter in the galaxy. They’re on a constant Crusade, keeping it real for the Emperor and not bumming around like the other guys. They hate psykers and can’t ally with them. They’re basically an entire chapter of Chaplains. CC lunatics. What every Space Marine should aspire to be, if not trapped in a Matt Ward nightmare.

Just remember that Al'Rahim's Platoon all comes in together on a single roll and the STs are a seperate roll. Do not assume they will come in together and on the same side.

I would drop the Plasma guns on the PIS for melta to give you alittle more AT. I can handle the Vets with Plasma if your goal is to sit back and wait for the Outflankers. But understand those plasmas are not going to hurt high AV vehicles. You also need the plasma Vets as objective holders anyways.

Also realise that your opponent is possible facing just your 2 LRBTs, 2 Vets and the CCS turn 1 (if you Outflank the STs) and they will be easy pickings. God's know I would crush your CCS Turn 1 to screw you on the reserve rolls (astropath has to be alive and on the board to give it's benifit). Turn 1 your not doing alot besides two BS 3 LC shots and the Manticore. That is not reliable enough long range AT at that point level.

I do not like sponsons on the LRBTs due to 'lumbering behemoth'... you can only fire 1 weapon and the turret if you move. If your not moving, your firing everything on 1 target. If your LRBTs are your AT, then the sponsons as even more of a waste as they can't hurt high AV vehicles. At that point, get two Vanquishers and give them LCs if your LRBTs are your dedicated AT vehicles. They will be twice as effective compaired to what you have now. The Vanq cannon /is/ the best AT weapon in the game... just the BS 3 kills it.

Your list is neat in idea... and I can see it doing well against something like Nid hoard or Green Tide where long range AT is not a factor. But any mech list (IG, DE, Eldar, Marine) and firepower based lists will destroy this list because they will just out shoot you and destroy the few real dangerous targets turn 1 they are facing and pick off the other stuff as it comes in. I can see a single Land Raider doing alot of damage to your list.

Its not bad. A few suggestions though:

Drop the standard, add another melta gun. 5 points saved.

Give your stormies plasma and your vets meltas. 10 points saved.

Drop lascannon and plasma sponsons from your LRBT. 110 points saved.

With the points you can either grab another vet squad to act as an objective sitter or 3 ac scout sentinels. Run them individually. Note also that if you want to deepstrike your stormies you can start the chimeras on the field to add more saturation and give cover to your advancing melta guns. Take advantage of all their special operations as the given game dictates.

Ditch the Lascannon on the LRBT, they just won't aim for the same targets as the battlecannon!
