Hey, I was in an MMO mood for a bit, and seeing as though I stopped buying time for WoW, I was playing Rift, than I was bored because I hod no one to talk to

So I was wondering if any one on dakka played Rift, and wanted to start a guild or something

As a side note, If you don't play Rift I also have all the DoW 1 and DoW 2 games, if you would want to play those instead

I played for awhile, though with other commitments, I havent actually played much in the last few weeks..

Im mostly on Keenblade, with a few toons on Crucia.

Yeah, i played it.

Got to level 30 before i got bored, somehow the game didn't live up to my expectations.
So i'm currently waiting for GW2 or maybe SWOTR, haven't decided yet.

But it was the first time i played as a tank, and not any tank but a reaver tank wich was fun.

I'm pretty much playing it until dark millennium online comes out...

I played the trial, but couldn't be bothered forking out for it. Maybe GW2 when it comes out due to being F2P.

I know.

I've wracked up about 5 hours gameplay of gw2 so far, like a boss

Ah, damn, probably will get GW2.

Hopefully Necromancers will still be able to spam pets. None of this "One per person" crap.

If you're a human, you can have up to 5 pets, i believe.

Rangers get three active pets but can only have one out at a time unless they use the super special summon all pets to do a combo attack skill.

Necromancers get one summon per summon skill normally (though one of the summon skills summons three minions), though there is an elite skill called lich form that turns you into a giant green lich/wraith thing that can summon unlimited minions and do some other awesome stuff for a period of time.

I've attended two conventions and played the hell out of the demo both this year and last it isn't even in beta yet.

I have read all of the released information a few times though.

And i checked, the max pets is 5, if you're a human.

You can summon three pets as a necromancer, and the humans racial abbility lets you summon two hounds...

With a maxed out minion skill bar you can get a blood fiend (a large tentacled sack of blood and some organs), three bone minions, a bone fiend and a blood wurm then either the lich form mentioned about or the two hounds in the elite slot. so thats a cap of 8 we can arrange at the moment

Necromancer pets all die quite easily though (and are easy to resummon) as when summoned the skill that summons them switches to a skill that kills them for some reward (blood fiends can be killed for health, bone minions explode one at a time when you press the button etc).
