I'm new to 40K, so, this list may seem very wrong when you look at it. I'm going off of what I've read from various list building threads here on the forums.

Trying to go for a cheaper list, I know that as far as going cheap is concerned, Grey Knights would be best, but honestly, I like DE, and I like being able to field female units. I'm willing to take the price hit for something I prefer both fluff wise and looks wise.

How is it? It's essentially the start box + succubus, keeping my price down at 130

Assuming what I have is fine, what should I do from here? Was considering Trueborns in a venom, and another set of Wychs in a raider. Any other suggestions not pertaining to the list would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: Oh! And how "good" is Lelith Hesperax generally seen as? I think her model looks awesome, fluff too.

Trublasters in a venom is a good start, wyches too. Don't buy a haem. Make him from the parts of the raider's "hangers-on" and warrior bits. A little green stuff, and a wire.

I just needed to make a cloak from green stuff to finish it. I made three of these.

So, replace the Succubus with a Haem, and get rid of the Dark Lance?

Yes, the raider is for the girls.

What would you suggest on the reavers and anti-tank? Give the girls grenades maybe?

just give the haemy a liquifier. It's pretty much the best flamer in the game with a 50% chance to take out MEQ saves. Shattershards are cool to although they are a one shot weapon they can do some serious damage. Haywires are good for the girls so you don't have to worry about being tied up by the odd dreadnought. I would split the warriors into two squads of five with a blaster each and put them in venoms with two splintercannons. I know transports can get expensive but ebay is great for finding stuff dirt cheap. Oh and also for the haemy when the girls jump out to assault they take his pain token with them and keep him on the boat to fly around and melt stuff, Haemys do not belong in assault.

With the concept of working just out of the starter box + HQ;

The Haem is indeed probably the better all around HQ - though the Succubus is workable at this stage.

The RJBs are not kitted out optimally for you really, they are pretty substandard in assault, and you're sinking a lot of points into a unit that is, really, just three IG Vets on bikes - really, how scary of an assault is that?

I'd go with a Blaster or Heat Lance on the bikes, drop the champ, and use them as a disposable anti-mech suicide unit.

As you build the list larger there are a few primary goals; but I would say the big ones are an awareness that you'll want more dedicated transports - besides WWP lists I can't think of a remotely decent DE list that uses less than six vehicles, even at point values as small as 1000.

Also, as a new Archon, I'd suggest you check out the DE Tactica (link in my sig) which will net you a lot of general advice on DE tactics as well as a lot of strategic discussion on optimal units and their load-outs.
