What inspires you to paint? After spending too much time away from putting together my IG army, I was flipping through the codex and seeing pictures of well painted guardsmen inspired me to get back to work on them. What gets you guys motivated to paint?

When i see work like the landraider on this thread http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/3540/233422.page makes me want to keep going....although it can also make me want to throw mine in the trash and start over too.

Every Dakkanaught gets a 4+ Pinch of Salt save.
When you suffer a Falling Sky hit, roll a D6 - on a 4+ the hit is ignored as per the Pinch of Salt save. On a 1-3 panic insues - you automatically fail common sense tests for the next 2 weeks and get +7 to your negativity stat. -Praxiss

Either playing the game or buying the models. It always inspires me to paint for some reason.

I never have the motivation to finish my squads either :/ I get them to TTQ and end up leaving them that way.

A lot of the time I just see other models on here or online and that's usually good. Playing works to get me to pain more as well. Also, tutorials that make certain paint schemes look easy always get me into painting.
Finally I tend to keep my unpainted models on my desk where I can see them. When they're always looming over me like that I get guilty if I'm not painting them.

Watching Les Bursley paint (http://www.awesomepaintjob.com/) gets me jazzed about painting my own stuff.
