One bit of potential good news after the firing of Frank Darabont from TWD, it seems make up FX head ( and long time Romero buddy) Greg Nicotero has been named co-executive producer for season 2 .

Opened pretty good. Very tense, Daryl continues to be a badass...
But really, what the hell, where did those zombies come from?
Either Dale is as blind as a bat, or they can teleport, because there is no way they drove past some hundred zombies without seeing them.
And it would have been really obvious if they climbed up the slope to the highway and climbed over the safety rail.
There are some who walk until their legs fail them and they fall to the ground. I find that respectable.
Then there are those who drag themselves further. I find that admirable.

Carl was shot by accident by a hunter just looking for food (hence the deer)...the hunter takes the survivors to a nearby farm where they meet other survivors and get Carl help...
Needless to say, Rick nearly beats the ever loving gak out of the hapless hunter...
