well then....

having run my first deathwatch mission with a new set of players, they are all eager to get going into a campaign proper and i want to give them a kind of open ended campaign.

i have scattered ideas at the moment but i wondered if i could be lazy and ask a bit of help of you guys


here's the basic scenario (to be fleshed out with story):

i) the Anchilus crusade is hitting the [to be named] sector in an attempt to reclaim lost worlds back to the imperium.

ii) unfortunately, 2 factors are already slowing potential progress, the 4th (i think...) Tau expansion is hitting the sector as well, as is a small splinter of hive fleet Dagon.

iii) with 8 planets in the sector, 2 are currently under the imperium's control, 1 under the tau's control and one that is an "auxillary" race the tau are negotiating with (see, protoss from starcraft )

iv) having been comfortable without imperial rule, the remaining planets have prospered in the time they have been seperated from the imperium. being caught in a crusade between 2, possibly 3 invading armies has tipped the balance - heresy is rife and they are seeking more and more ways to defend themselves.

v) it wasn't long before chaos made its way to them......



the mission of the deathwatch guys will be to observe and report the happenings on these planets, diverting their actions to the imperiums favor where needed. they will be accompanied by an inquisitor (also ordo xenos, they saved him in the previous mission) to give them access to places and equipment they might not otherwise have had....



here's where i'm a little stuck:

i want a full planetary info page on each of the 8 planets in the system and i cant think of names for the planets, let alone the more in depth details....

so barring Ayur (the protoss homeworld, which i will be able to come up with), can anyone be bothered to reply with one of the following:

1) Tau World

2) Imperial/chaos world

3) Imperial/chaos world

4) Imperial/chaos world

5) Imperial/chaos world

6) Imperial world

7) imperial world


note that the chaos worlds are at this stage going to be just taking hold, perhaps the occasional cult acivity. as things progress at least one of those planets will suffer an invasion from chaos forces (first person to write a chaos sorcerer into their description gets dibs on him - no marks of chaos on him though!)

each planet needs:

1) Name
2) population
3) atmospheric conditions (toxic, breathable etc)
4) planets "function" (forgeworld, agri-world etc)
5) brief history (past events, notable figures)
6) any deatails you think you could pick up from an orbital scan...
