I'm always on the lookout for things I can convert to Maneaters and I'm currently looking at the Ogres/Ogryn that FW makes. I'm wondering what other people think of the potential of using the following as potential Maneaters. The biggest problem with the nurgle Ogres is that it's part of a set and I've got nobody interested in going in for the other two.

If you get a hold of white dwarf 300 there is some good stuff there. There is a Bretonnian one with like these long spears and a tunic. There is a dwarf slayer one with an orange mohawk and a pair of axes with chains around his forearms a la Kratos style. I came acrosss this guy today:

Use your imagination, they go off and fight as mercenaries they are bound to take on the fighting style and apparel of those they fight with.

Thus, After having thus successively taken each member of the community in its powerful grasp and fashioned him at will, the supreme power then extends its arm over the whole community. It covers the surface of society with a network of small complicated rules, minute and uniform, through which the most original minds and the most energetic characters cannot penetrate, to rise above the crowd. The will of man is not shattered, but softened, bent, and guided; men are seldom forced by it to act, but they are constantly restrained from acting. Such a power does not destroy, but it prevents existence; it does not tyrannize, but it compresses, enervates, extinguishes, and stupefies a people, till each nation is reduced to nothing better than a flock of timid and industrious animals, of which the government is the shepherd

Waiting for my shill money from Spiral Arm Studios

the FW Ogryn and Ogres will work fine.

basically as long as you are WYSIWYG you will be fine. its perfectly reasonable that a group of Maneaters would have come under the thrall of Nurgle during their travels. a big hole in your gut means you can eat constantly, maybe even eat the same stuff twice

Self-proclaimed evil Cat-person. Dues Ex Felines

Cato Sicarius, after force feeding Captain Ventris a copy of the Codex Astartes for having the audacity to play Deathwatch, chokes to death on his own D-baggery after finding Calgar assembling his new Eldar army.

Is that the one with the kitchen wagon in it? I'll have to see if I still have that one. I wasn't into fantasy back then and may not have kept it. :(
