So I am very new to the lore of WH40K and was just wondering if I understand where all the primarchs are, any help with my list would be great!

5 missing

and the two lost legions

Is this info correct?

Corax is MIA
Kurze is dead as disco
Alpharius and Omegon... maybe dead? Maybe alive? We don't know...
Guilliman is pretty much dead. The rumopurs surrounding his recovery aren't true and since he is in status and critically wounded he is as good as dead.
Other than that you're shiny...
NOTE: THe Lion is apprently sleeping deep within The Rock.

I thought it was either Alpharius or Omegon who was thought to be dead, not both of them.

I'm not entirely sure...
That's the point i suppose.
Even the witnesses to the death aren't sure if it was the true one whichever one it was supposed to be...
As it is there's a rather cunning fellow who wiped out an SM chapter and claims to be Alpharius... that said they all claim to be Alpharius.

You should have checked the Sticky at the top of the page.

Guilliman isn't dead, but they second someone takes him out of his Stasis Field he will be.

That means dead to me... or as good as.

Lion El’Jonson - Sleeping beneath the Rock, what remains of the Dark Angels homeworld. Only the Emperor and the Watchers in the Dark, some sort of Xenos, know his location.

Fulgrim - Possessed by a Slannesh Daemon. The true Fulgrim is trapped in his mind and has to watch the atrocities the Daemon commits. The Daemon is with Slannesh, having a great time. Not at all bothered about the Imperium or his Legion, more concerned with is own activities and Slannesh's power.

Perturabo - Daemon Prince Undivided, sits and broods in his massive fortress on the Iron Warriors world of Medregard in the Eye of Terror. Again, not that bothered about the Imperium, but shows some interest in what his Legion is up to.

Jaghatai Khan - MIA. Last seen running after some Dark Eldar into the Webway. There are rumours of a giant unbeatable warrior that performs in the arenas in Cammoragh.

Leman Russ - MIA. He apparently just stood up one day and took the 13th Space Wolves Great Company into the Eye of Terror, leaving only Bjorn behind to carry on his legacy. Presumably he went to find Magnus and the Thousand Sons. Magnus hints that his condition isn't ideal in Battle of the Fang.

Rogal Dorn - KIA. He was killed when assaulting a huge Chaos warship. Although, there are some rumours that only his hands were recovered, which throws the previous conclusion into the realm of uncertainty.

Konrad Curze/Night Haunter - Killed by the Culexis Assassin M'shen on Tsagualsa.

Sanguinius - KIA. Horus killed him on the Vengeful Spirit during the assault on Terra by traitors of the Heresy.

Ferrus Manus - KIA. Fulgrim, on behest of the Daemon in the Laer sword, killed Ferrus on Istvaan V and presented his head to Horus as a trophy and a sign of trust. There is a rumour that his body was never accounted for, and that the Mechanicus may have taken it to Mars.

Angron- Deamon Prince of Khorne. The only traitor still concerned with attacking the Imperium, although he probably fights anywhere and anyone.

Roboute Guilliman - Mortally wounded by Fulgrim sometime after the Heresy. Fulgrim cut his throat using the Anathema blade which is effective against Primarchs. He was put in stasis to prevent his death, but can't be saved by the Imperium. Maybe only the Emperor can save him. In universe rumours say he is healing but in stasis this is impossible. Once released, he will die.

Mortarion - Daemon Prince of Nurgle. Resides over his own planet in the Eye of Terror, a perfect recreation of Barbarus, his old home-world. Apparently makes his way out of the Warp sometimes, but was banished by Kaldor Draigo.

Magnus the Red - Daemon Prince of Tzeentch. Resides over what is left of his Legion on the Planet of the Sorcerers in the Eye of Terror. Spends most of his time contemplating the nature of Chaos, scheming, and helping his god with stuff in the Warp, but occasionally makes his way out to enact revenge on the Space Wolves.

Horus - Killed by the Emperor at the Siege of Terra. His being was completely obliterated, he no longer exists.

Lorgar- Daemon Prince Undivided. Currently on Sicarus, the Word Bearers world in the Eye of Terror. Spends most of his time writing new stuff about Chaos and just generally helping the different Gods do their thing. He could in the future take a much more provident role in the universe. Read Dark Creed for more.

Vulkan - MIA. No one really know anything about him. He survived the Heresy, then disappeared. We will apparently return once all of his artefacts are recovered.

Corax - MIA. He also survived the Heresy, but left for the Eye of Terror in one of his ships. Not seen since.

Alpharius and Omegon - No one knows. Some Alpha Legionaire was killed by Guilliman, but due to the covert nature of the the Legion, it could have been an impersonator. Current whereabouts and motives are unknown.

Can we just make a sticky of this? It comes every month anyway.

There is one, but there's some extra info it leaves out that could then lead to confusion and questions.

Dorn is definately dead. They actually have his body and everything...

Lion is not MIA. We know his location.

However, if you are talking from the perspective of the 40K univers, then yeah, he is MIA.

And out of all the primarchs, I want more info on Vulkan.

But remember, Roboute Gulliman is a Spiritual Liege, and that means he can do anything.

Where is the info on Fulgrim cutting papa smurfs throat from?

Index Astartes article on the Ultramarines, although the Emperors Children one doesn't mention it at all.

It probably isn't Alpharius/Omegon. It could be Vulkan or Corax. Khan is with the DE isn't he? It's far more likely it's just a Space Marine though.

It's most likely a Primarch.

Statistically, it's almost certainly not a primarch. And going by GW's refusal to advance the plot, it seems unlikely they'd bring one back.
