For a pre-heresy campaign

Company Master Astelan

-Power sword

9 Veterans
3 Combi-Plasma
1 Plasma Gun

2 Tactical squads set up the same

10 Marines
Plasma Gun
Powerfist
Lascannon

3 Rhinos wih extra armor



Anything i could do differently? I was tinkig about using the. Vanilla codex for ease but it would be coolnto win with a no ravenwing or deahwing army
I think i need more AT but at 1000 points Plasma should work against most things right?

I can put 3 AV14 battlewagons on the board at 1000points with ease. Find some way of getting moreAT in the list imo.

I would drop the vets down to maybe 5 and add a melta or 2 in there. And hopefully a RBack for them.

I am not sure you want a Vanilla list like someone has supplied.
The DA only other competitive option away from Belial and sammael is their take on razorback spam.

How are you going to get a DA list without being vanilla and with out being DW/RW? Meltas in squads is not DA in feel plasmagun would be better in theme. I was building something closer to what he had as that seems to be the rout he wanted to take. How about thinking out of the box. Dev squads are very DA in feel as well as how I equiped my tac squads.

By using the list supplied. If you have issues with the DA codex as you do not think it fits the DA fluff then sure do not use it.
