OK based off all the necron rumors, I was thinking about what kind of " Oh gak!" unit they can field that isnt just a Mono or other heavy.

So far some of the nastiest units i've had to face are the obvious TH/SS terms, Seer council on jetbikes, harlequin troops and so on.

So here is what I wonder: One of the rumor threads I read says the there will be an HQ choice that can be made out of 0-5 Necron and 0-5 of the Cerebyte guys. All of which can take codex upgrades.

So the super oh gak unit would be this:

Necron lord x5
-Destroyer body
-warscythe
-res orb
cerebyte x5
-destroyer body or jump pack equiv
-warscythe


So.... a million str-6 attacks at 18" assault that ignore all saves. oh yeah, an 4+ "feel no we'll be back" saves. Add the teleport cloak and this sounds like it would have nightmare potential. although it may be quite expensive..
