Need ideas for 3 and 5 inch swamps. Iam looking for something of a ring type design. I don't want too use any kind of templetes or terrain type features, it would be easier too remove the ring then remove the models. Iam basically talking about bloody banabaus spell he can cast which is a 5 inch swamp that lasts for a round, plus blindwater congregation puts out two 3 inch diameter swamps.

My friend made some out of this thin flexible material. Can buy sheets of it at Michaels for next to nothing. Then he cut out the center so they are rings of appropriate sizes. its amazingly useful. You could also get the metal ones that Advanced Deployment makes. Google their address, they have lots of Wargaming tools.

I use metal rings from a Hobby Lobby/Craft store - they come in a variety of sizes and are dirt cheap. I use them for cloud effects as well, works wonders.

Dreamcatcher rings are what I use--they come in 3", 4" and 5". I have some empty for tournament play--and some filled in with water effects. They're cheap too.

Any craft or hobby store, or even a big retailer with a cloth section like Walmart or Target, will have 3", 4", and 5" brass rings. Typically they come 3-5 to a package and cost in the single digits of dollars.

You can use them as swamps, clouds, AoEs, or anything else you feel like.
