Quoted from the forum
Giga Bites and Rolling Bones will be hosting a 1750pt 40k Tournament on Sunday, November 13th. Specifics on Missions and whatnot to follow, but here's the important sign up stuff:
1) Entry will be $15, or $10 to Rolling Bones club members. Payment of the entry fee is due no later than Sunday, November 6th, one week before the tournament. Failure to pay by this time will have you placed on a waiting list if the tournament is full, with no guarantee of a spot. Payment can be made in person at Giga-Bites, or through Pay-Pal (David, if you could provide this info to any who need it?). There is no excuse not to pre-pay, people, so please do so whenever you sign up.
2) Prizes will be awarded to first, second, and third place, as well as Best Painted, Best Sportsman, and Best in club. The values of prizes will be determined, of course, by number of entries. Painting will not impact your placement in the tournament, nor will a good sportsmanship score. Repeated negative sportsmanship ratings, or intervention from a judge due to bad behavior, almost certainly will.
3) The missions may resemble those in the rulebook, or be totally different, but I will endeavor to make them fair to all armies, and post them here as they are ready and the tournament approaches.
4) The tournament will be awesome.

look forward to having you all

Sounds cool and I'll have to check in for the scenario. I'm itching for a 40k tourney and unfortunately wasn't able to make it to the Treefort one this weekend.
