So i had just bought a few parts to my new ba mech list

so far looking at this configuration.

hopefully I did the assault marines and razorback math correct. this is what ill be playing with for now untill i get the rest of my army.

and so far its a basic mech list. soon ill be adding in some dreadnoughts maybe but for sure ill be adding in these units listed below

2x landraider redeemers

10x assault termies

1x more pred.

one more librarian.

That's about as good as it gets for a starting ba mech

But the rest after is yuck rather then those units just spam the crap out of more av

First and foremost ether fill your troops slots or have at least 5 units they go way faster then you think

Furosios are keen here with talons take them if your taking the las preds , otherwise take vindis; you lack anti horde and that can be any meq nightmare

Get 1 more Libby for shield

Get 1 more Baal and 1 more las pred

And you should be set

Lrr with 10 termies is waiting to get slagged don't even bother for that many points you might as well as invest into the above

It would be 2 land raiders each with 5 termies. i thought it was a great defense with av 14 pushing the way making it easy for razors to get in place.

Just a small note: on your RB its a TL plasmagun, not a plasma cannon.

I would agree with Looks Infected: add some vidicators, 2 to be safe. so drop an Auto/Las pred.

So vindicators are anti horde?

Not only are they Anti-Horde, but they are Strength 10. Its good against infantry, but it can also be used against vehicles if needed. Its main purpose is to scare your opponent into killing the Vindicators first before going after the Razorbacks.

I prefer preds to vindis. Also I rate assault cannons equal to lasplas on the razorbacks.

Assault termies in a landraider would an expensive but awesome unit to add to the list. Though more 'backs and preds are also good ideas.

I wasnt sure on troop choices im still pretty new to the game. I didnt know how many i can take. i do know there is a limit to everything else i was unsure of the troops for 1800 4 razors and 20 marines isnt enough with all the mech running around?

at 1500 points i'd say 4 5man units in razors are the absolute minimum, but i'd probably go with 5 of them. It also adds another razorback.

Support them by either preds or vindis. Don't mix and match. Thats the best advice i can give ya.

I think what ill do is drop the priests. to free up some points.

so something like this

2x hq libby

troops
5 -5x asm(pf/melta) 5x razorbacks

2x baal preds

2x vindies

total of 9 mech in the list.
would it be wise to add in another baal pred or even a furioso or 2?
