I've just started collecting a dark angels army. However I'm not quite sure how to use them. Can you please tell me some tactics. Thanks.

Are we planning on going Deathwing, Ravenwing, or vanilla Dark Angels?

The all bike ravenwing is my favorite. I'm not in front of the codex so the names might be wrong:
Take Sammiel allowing bikes for troops.
Max out bike squads with attack bikes and speeders. Keep in mind, that you can deploy and play the attack bike and the speeder as a seperate unit, giving you three different pointing units per troop selection.
Elites, your pretty open. Termies are of course good and expensive, but for this build i like techmarines with PC servitors, giving you a few cheap fire bases to cover the bikes assault.
HS I like taking vindicators ONLY with this build because all the bikes andd speeders are going to be in his wheelhouse on turn 2, so alot of firepower is directed away from your heavies early. That allows your demolisher cannons to get in close and go to work.
LR's are giant bullet magnets that rarely go down. Good just to avoid other stuff being nailed.
FA is more bikes and speeders.
Depending on points, take a jump squad with an HQ chaplain ond some gear to change it up.

I feel there are three semicompetitive builds: Razorbackspam, dualwing and ravenwing. Then there is deathwing. All four are very much unique in the way they play which one are you interested in?

Only max out if you go for landspeeders with chain guns. You have to play them as separate units. 4 scoring units with combat squads.

Termies are a good deal though would not fit ravenwing army. Techmarines with PC servitors are more expensive then their already pricey dev. squad.

The only way I can get ravenwing to work is by hiding units away instead of running a slow tank forward.

Ravenwing are already expensive per model you do not want waste points on one model. Attack bikes and typhoons are cheap.
FA is more bikes and speeders.
Usually typhoons. If you have no other landspeeders then go for bikes and attack bikes.
Depending on points, take a jump squad with an HQ chaplain ond some gear to change it up.
They are too expensive and have bad options. An assault squad will kill nothing.

"'players must agree how they are going to select their armies, and if any restrictions apply to the number and type of models they can use."
This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

I just run with green armor. I love the models so I always run two squads of vets. I also bring 4 tac squads with a meltagun, lascannon, fist on sergeant. No, they aren't quite as points efficient as Vanilla marines, but the difference is usually less than 30pts.
