I was wondering if you could trade mint condition GW Stuff because i have a mint CSM codex and trade it in for something of the same value at a gamesworkshop.

I heard this in a rumor but i'm still not sure.

Yep, take it in and tell the manager it is an unwanted gift. He/She should let you exchange it.

Likely would as I've seen it mentioned from time to time, though it would vary from manager to manager as to if they accept it. I'd say it's probably have to still be sealed and possibly require the receipt though not always given that you'd likely never get the chance to get the receipt anyway.

how about broken stuff? I bought a broken hobby drill the other day and i didnt yet get around to exchanging it. Sadly the bill looks a bit rustly, because it spent several days in my trousers before i found it- will they still take back my drill?

LOOK!! a shameless self-promotion! (gasp!)

If you have the receipt, I dont see why they should not. (if it was broken when you bought it)

yeah i know that (and you might say it was a failcast [production mistake]), but the receipt looks very bad, and its only hardly readable

Yes, but only if you have the receipt or it was bought from that store less than a week ago. And it had to have been bought from Games Workshop themselves, not a 3rd part retailer. And the product does not come to over a £100 in total.

Yeah, I got kinda messed around with this a while back and investigated to find out the new batch of rules they, strangely, aren't advertising much.
