I found this HO scale kit at a resale shop...

...and with some modification turned it into some thing more suited for 28mm wargames.

It's big enough to drive a tank through...

...and has a usable interior, second floor and roof.

Thanks,
It probably has about 8-10 hours of work into it, but it was mostly done absenmindedly over a couple weeks in the evenings while watching DVD's.

You should spend a bit of time to 40k up the outside. Good start though.

Thanks folks, glad you all like it.

Barksdale,
I very deliberately didn't 40k'ify the outside. Most of the Sci-Fi and Post-Apoc gaming that our club does is with games like WarEngine, Tomrorrow's War and Wastelands. So as much as I like the 40k'verse, I try to avoid too much "grimdark" in my terrain and to keep it generic enough to fit near future, post apoc and sci-fi settings. Here's some examples of similar model buildings that have been beautifully 40k-ified. http://www.ironhands.com/habs.htm

Next week, it's even going to figure prominently in a post-Halloween Zombie game!
