This was today's afternoon project, the only real goals I had for this was to be identifiable as a thunderfire cannon stand in and look vaguely Imperial.
Oh and sorry for the crappy pics, couldn't find the camera so just used the phone.

Alright finally fixed the links, and I know it doesnt look great. It took about an hour to build and didn't cost 50 bucks. I'm reasonably happy with it.

Outside the DarkTower, amongst the roses.

Really crappy as they do not show up. Try again.

Every Dakkanaught gets a 4+ Pinch of Salt save.
When you suffer a Falling Sky hit, roll a D6 - on a 4+ the hit is ignored as per the Pinch of Salt save. On a 1-3 panic insues - you automatically fail common sense tests for the next 2 weeks and get +7 to your negativity stat. -Praxiss

Somebody needs to learn how img tags work!

I'm sorry, but it looks like corrugated cardboard with straws sticking out. That's technically what it is, but I can't say it looks good.

He said it was a stand-in sort of thing, so i think it's fine, it's simple, yet you know what it is when you say, i have a thunderfire cannon btw, it's a stand-in.

Good one

Its just to try out the unit mostly. Its alot easier for me to justify spending my limited funds on new units if I can see how they play for a bit first. If i like it i'll probably buy the real thing.

I think that, for what it is, it's a good start. If you plasticarded it up, added some rivets, and put some more TLC into, you could have something pretty decent there. For scratching building something, for what I assume would be your first attempt (no offense intended ) it's pretty good. I'd have no issues with you dropping that down in a casual game against me to try it out. But I still think you should take this to the next step and give it the TLC it need.

For a quick stand-in it's fine, although I would look to reduce the size of the barrels a little, add a muzzle of some kind on the end so they look a little less like pieces of plastic tube, and possible add some sort of brace on the back so it doesn't tip over backwards when it fires.

Doesn't really look like a Thunderfire Cannon, closer to an AA gun IMO.

But If it's just a stand it...it'll do fine im sure.
