I have completed a squad of "Grey Knights" stand-ins for my Marines Diagnostica (P/M Blog thread link). Overall I'm fairly happy with them, and I was able to cover up most of the sculpting problems with "authentic battle damage", which gave me some nice bits of weathering without overloading the unit with it. Feedback is welcome, as this will form the basis for the warrior acolyte squads' paintjobs (though without the grey quartering) and since I plan to do my other marine army fully Artscale once I get rolling on it.

Tomorrow I will make an effort to get out the lightbox and take pics with good lighting.

Two full squad shots:

Paintjob is aces, but the conversion work looks rushed in quite a few places. The weapons really look...awkward and crooked in a few places, and most just don't look like they belong where they are (really awkward and bulky, not marine-like).

Thunderhammer on the one guy looks to be about right scale and fit in right.

I'm sorry, but they don't look "truescale" so much as "chubby" to me. Even then, they've got giant weapons that make them look out of scale again.
