1000 pts is horrible for space marines and particularly salamanders.

I would get one squad with flamer, combiflamer then one melta, combimelta. That way you land and shoot two of the same weapon into a tank or the crowd. With only one squad with flamers as you can combat squad and have a bunch of bolter shots going into troops that are lying about. Also you can choose which pods you bring down first turn, if flamers are needed you are fine.

General point I would have is drop pod armies need some ranged attack, that is both guns and movement. It is quite possible to outmanoeuvre drop pod armies.

I really like sternguard in drop pods. Maybe 10, 5 with combimeltas and 2 with heavy flamers, so you can combat squad.

Will your vindicator will standing long enough to fire the hunter killer off? Also will your pred get lonely at the back?

Why add a second storm bolter to the vindi's? They already come with one.

Also, I would switch the TLLC/LC pred with a AC/LC Pred. The TL Las is overpriced and you have enough melta to deal with most armour.
