Your best bet is to try and ct off at the wrist. straight simple cut. But i'm not a god at converting, so i shall wait till others with more experience answers.

Depends what you glued them with (or someone else).
Plastic glue?
Cut 'em. Only way.
Superglue?
Freeze, Simple Green, hammer, drop it onto concrete (superglue is strong but very brittle).

A sharp scalpel may do the trick if there's not too much glue - but has a fair chance of slipping and cutting either the model or your hand A razor saw would give a much more controlled cut, but will probably also destroy about 1mm of detail - you'll probably ruin the torsoes, which is fine if you have some replacements.

Soak them in Dawn Power Dissolver or a safe cleaner for a good week, if it isnt plastic glue the bonds should at least be loose enough to carefully pull off.

The freezer test helps.
Freezing often makes superglue brittle (well, more brittle) - unfortunately it can also make the GW plastics brittle too.
Won't do anything to a plastic glue bond, though.
