Well a little about myself. I started in the 40k universe by playing all of the dawn of wars. Then came my trip to Perth Australia where a friend introduced me to the game. I bought the black reach set and started from there. I got home from that deployment and bought more to get to about a 1500-1700 point army.
Since I started putting together the models I have been busy playing squad command which I finally got tired of and waited my year for Space Marine to come out. In that year I was painting off and on, but now that it is out it has sparked me to finish my army. Also my friend is getting back from sea and I would like to have it fully painted or close to it when he gets back.
I have only played 2 games since I have had my army one battle against Tau which I dominated, and once against the forces of chaos, which I used my scouts the wrong way and didn't have my drop pod at the time or I think I would have done a little better. But all in all I would just like to say hello.
