This list would most likely not use the outflanking rule. The only reason I still will probably use khan is the fact a 9 man bike squad with furious charge is gonna be a hilarious ordeal when it hits melee. The speeders and the raider are there to attempt to pop some vehicles, but mostly there as a distraction to keep them firing at stuff while the bike squads get into melee range of everyone. What do you think dakka dakka?

I've used a list like this before, and trust me, its not as good as you'd hope. Bikers are HORRIBLE in hand to hand against anything in the game, and you don't have the firepower to kill anything completely.

Also, armies with mass strength 5+ shooting will ANNIHILATE you, because of the sheer number of saves they force. Eldar with warp spiders + scatter laser war walkers are among your worst nightmares, as are any army with poisoned attacks in large numbers (Dark Eldar Venoms, Nid Gargoyles, etc.)

Its a shame, but bikers just aren't a very good army.

I've definitely had troubles before with a dark eldar list running my all bike army minus the guy was cheating with moving 12" and shooting out of his skimmers so I could almost never get range. With my other list though of pure bikers and 3 2x squads of speeders eldar were never an issue. I was normally able to lock down enough tanks to get into melee with the basic warriors. The worst turn is turn 2 when my whole army is about midfield in turbo boost mode so they can be in range of everything turn 3. The land raider and 3 speeders are going to hopefully distract them long enough to aim for those over my bike squads.

yea, the list with the speeders + bikers is probably better than putting a raider in. If you could fit like 6 typhoons into the list, you'd probably have enough shooting to cover your bikes.

Still, it would leave you with serious problems when it comes to dealing with terminators, or any kind of blood angels list.

we have a guy at the tourneys that runs an BA list with 2 baal preds, 3 razorbacks with las and TL plas, and a bike squad with priest and chaplain. plus some tac marine squads. last time I fought him I did pretty well. Most of his vehicles got popped by melta firing and T5 against a base marine means hiting on 4's and wounding on 5's. his bike squad met it's demise from mass melta wounds as well. Terminators are cake. just stay 18 inches away and lob MM shots at em and single shot bolters until they die. they have no way to actually catch a bike squad

Bike armies do work but they require more precision with their tactics than most armies.

You can drop the cc weapons as the bike squads should avoid cc. Though without combat tactics getting out of cc could be an issue.

I would take some squads with plasma guns as they work nicely 24'' multimelta. Also one unit with flamers to take care of infantry can be good.

I would go for the combat squad on bikes with storm shield and cc weapons to run with khan to use him fully. This is an expensive deathstar unit.

I would give the typhoons heavy bolters as they will be your only long range threat so the chances are they will be shooting at the far away targets.

If you really want more tank busting get attack bike squadrons as they can outflank.
