I only saw one thread on Skyrim and so I figured I would make a general thread about the game. I don't know about any of you but I'm more excited about Skyrim then any other game this year (though I still have CODMW3 and Halo Anniversary pre-ordered) and it's not just because I'm getting it for 54.55$.

With over 300 hours of game play (30 of which is the main quest) and an infinite number of randomly generated dragons I'm going to be in fantasy world heaven for a LONG time. I love how the new character creation mechanic is so much more detailed then in Oblivion which when combined with the high graphics level is going to make the whole game a great visual experience.

I think my first character is going to be a Nord since that's what I always make. I'm going to make him look like a grizzled veteran with scars and probably the damaged eye. Just for kicks I may come up with a background story for him but I'll have to see what the actual story says as to why he's a prisoner.

So what are you most excited about in Skyrim? Do you have any ideas as far as what you're going to do with your character?
