In a couple of weeks I'll be playing an Apoc team battle (3 vs. 2 - Eldar and Space Wolves vs. Nids and Orks) and I'm toying around with making a list.

I've come up with the following (see below), but I'm in dubio about something (well, about more than one thing, but lets start with this one). It's about the HQ's. I'd like to run Yriel with the 'Quins, put the farseer in the falcon so it can doom and fortune things. However, that will probably leave the Wraithlord slacking behind. Taking some wraithside up the ass. Now, I could substitute Yriel with another farseer (with, say, guide) that could stay behind with the lord. But, then I fear that I'll miss some vital punching power - the Tyranid player will probably go Nidzilla, he prefers that, and we decided that the SW player would focus on the Orks ('cause of the initiative thing).

Are you married to having WL's? If not the simple answer is to trade em out on Fire prisms or more War Walkers.

If not, are you limited to 2 HQ's (Been a while since I've played Apoc.)? if not drop a unit somewhere and pick up another cheapo farseer.

Also, as a side note, if you are supposed to be primarily concerned with 'Nids, why not go with scorpions over banshees? More attacks at higher Str. would allow them to operate with less support from the farseer, and for anything that power weapons would be better for A) you have Quins with Kisses B) Banshees would struggle with an any case due to pesky str 3.

I can't trade the WL for FP or WW, 'cause I don't have those :/. The lord really is my only good anti-horde option atm, reapers don't cut it, right?

I could maybe try a farseer-destructor-warlock-death-star. Would that work?

farseer destructor deathstar will probably work like a charm^^ I have used it succesfully against BA (4destructors and doom) ended up with 25hits, 23wounded xD

Farseer or Eldrad. Yriel while nice seems more of a suicide or run off by himself for a little character due to how nice his monocle is, but that it would kill pretty much everyone he's running with.

Wouldnt putting Yriel in a group of harlequins remove one of their best abilities, to ignore terrain?
