Sorry if these questions seem pretty dumb, but i've not really used deep striking and drop pods before. But here's my 2 questions.

The drop pod assault, i'm pretty confident on that drop pod, you can assault out of it, hence the name, but i just wanted to clarify?

When you deep strike with a Stormraven, does it just deep strike as normal appearing at a point on the board and not able to move, but shoot, or can i move on the turn i deep strike?

No you can not assault out of a drop pod.

The stormraven deepstrikes like normal. It counts as moving at cruising speed. So only two weapons total can shoot. You cant charge with the troops its carrying either.

So, if it counts as moving as cruising speed, it being a fast skimmer, does that mean I can still move? I know i can't assault out of it with the troops however.

Deepstriking is its movement. It may not move any further.

Though any transported unit can however "move" to disembark.

Both of these are covered in the DS rules. Units inside a DS vehicle count as DS as well, and DS states you may not move ay further OR assault
