Greetings,

I've been looking over the Force Weapons section (page 50) of the Rulebook and the wording has me questioning something.

"...to use the weapon's power against one opponent that suffered an unsaved wound..."

Does this mean that only one model can be affected in this manner? Or does it mean the entire unit is affected? The term 'opponent' really isn't used all that much in a rule sense in the book.

Any clarification would be grateful.

I believe it's a single model. It's mainly for killing independent characters, since most unit members die with a single wound anyway.

Arguing with some people is like playing chess with a pigeon. You can play the best chess in the world, but at the end of the day the pigeon will still knock all the pieces off the board and then gak all over it.

It is one opponent model in the combat. So if you wound (but dont kill) a Nob (two wounds to start) you can attempt to cause Instant Death on them by passing the psychic test.

Grey Knight Nemesis FW cause ID on every wound from the unit, so work very differently!

Also for the GK NFW; you must decide to use the power(and take the Psychic test) on the first unsaved wound, so if you have a NF-Halberd and make your attacks ending with an unsaved wound against a unit(say an Ork Boyz mob with a nob, and the unsaved wound is on a boy), you must immediately try to activate the power or it will be too late when your NF-Swords start swinging(in an attempt to ID the Nob).

This is my Rulebook. There are many Like it, but this one is mine. Without me, my rulebook is useless. Without my rulebook, I am useless.
Stop looking for buzz words and start reading the whole sentences.

Just wanted to say thank you for everyone's quick reply. I am constantly re-reading rules and learning so much on a daily basis.
