One of my friends brought this to my attention, when comparing the Crisis Shas'vre entries in the Rulebook (pg. 107) vs the Tau codex (pg. 48) in that the Strength and Toughness are both +1 in the codex compared to the Rulebook. What would you follow, and why are these different?

It's my understanding that the Hierarchy of Rules-Trumping goes as follows:

House Rules/TO Rulings>Tournament FAQ (if any)>Codex FAQ>Codex>Core Rules FAQ>Core Rulebook

Chicago

(It's page 299 of the rulebook if you have the big one)

I'm with nos on this, I'd guess the rulebook has a typo.

For a funnier typo, check the Eldar page of the rulebook (296 of the big version) and see that WS have a front armor of 2.

Teln - no, it is ALWAYS specific vs general, UNLESS the EXACT same rule appears in both the codex and the rulebook

The point is that the Summary at the back of the BRB STATES it should not be used where it disagrees with the codex - theres no guessing involved here.
