So who would win in a war? Daleks or Crons?

Remember that both are packing some pretty nasty tech, like reality warping stuff, time manipulation, control of other dimensions, etc.

Modern Daleks, 9th doctor and onwards that is.

Are these modern Daleks or 1970s Daleks?

Ah good question...lets say modern Daleks, cause I don't know the old ones that well.

I've never found the Daleks particularly fearsome. Their gunstick, a standard weapon, appearantly effects biological life forms but doesn't really ahrm the skeleton too much. Necrons are made of living metal, and their standard weapon are magnetically based weapons that break down the target into its component molecules layer by layer and attract the molecules back to the gun.

So yeah, I fear the necrons (pre touch of ward) more than some rolling trashcans.

Daleks beat the crap out of the Cybermen so I'm guessing Daleks, since the necrons have gotten rid of the C'tan now apperently. To bad to, their necrodermis would probably cut through dalek armor.

And this feels like my nerdest post ever for some reason...

True, Dalek guns never really seem to affect metal more than leaving a scorch mark, I don't think the Necrons will mind a little scuffing.

The C'tan are not gone. They now serve the necrons.

And yes, this is nerdy...but then again, this a Wargaming forum, so what did you expect?

Well, hmm, probably Necrons, but, I dunno, the Cybermen issue does bring up a good point...

Don't the Daleks have some pretty nasty stuff though? Like time travel and the ability to steal planets?

Unfortunately for the Necrons, the Daleks are all equipped with a force-field that deflects both physical attacks as well as energy weapons, thus rendering their gauss cannons fairly ineffective. The single eye-stalk is still the Dalek's weakest point, however. Blinding this apparatus is an almost sure-fire way to negate a threatening Dalek.

Their energy weapons are believed to be plasmatic in function, and are capable of firing through water. It also bears some electrical effects, possibly delivering EMP pulses to mechanoid targets, such as Cybermen and other Daleks.

They can fly, both as hoverers on planets and through space. While individual Daleks cannot manipulate time, their society is extremely advanced, and is capable of producing machines and devices which can perform such feats, as well as many other things.

Daleks, contrary to popular belief, are not mechanoid or cybernetic. They are a small, crustaceanic/encephalopodic race who don these polycarbide armored suits to travel around in.

Daleks.

They are just as technologically capable but they don't keep fighting each other all the time like Necrons do.
