Yeah i know the taboo of kan wall and trukks, and as much as I hear bad things against it, it has done wonders in my games of late. I do not move the trukks 18" or 12" a turn, they stay behind my Kans until I need to move and drop, or move drop boyz and hide behind a trukk for an objective. The only real bad thing about having trukks, is the KP I almost always give for trukks, but I think the mobility is well worth it. I also leave only 11 units in my trukks, so my Big Mek can jump from trukk to trukk, because his trukk gets shot down everygame. 18 boyz? I run more boyz in my 250pt list let alone a 1500. It's different but not competive in my opinion.

WHOA! YIKES! Only 20 boyz in a 1500 pt list? Your army, sir, is woefully undermanned.
My suggestions:
Drop the KMBs on the kans for Rokkits. The loss in AP will save you 30 pts (5 more boyz!)
Drop one loota squad for more boyz.
Dread, eh, a so-so choice. If you can part with it, drop it for more boyz.
The coptas are unneccessary for tankbustin' as you've already got six kans and a couple PKs for that. Drop a few, maybe all of them for- you guessed it- more boyz.
The problem is, like you said, the taboo of trukks with kans. However you need more troops in general, plus the trukks by themselves are kind of weak. I wouldn't play a trukk list without at least four of them for target saturation.
I think the general mantra is applicable here: boyz before toyz.

Well its 30 boyz, and yeah I know its under boy'd. The x 2 for the trukk listing may not be clear. I could drop the Deffdread and a loota squad for another trukk of boyz that would put me @ 40. 40 boyz is all you see in a 1k point Kan wall list ( on foot ) only 2 PK's this list has 3 in the OP 1.5k for the deffcoptas and 1 more unit of lootas. I can see what would happen if I drop deffcoptas and add boyz, but hitting the back AV is sooooo good agaisnt any AV13 front 10 back tank So I can get up to 5 trukks of boyz if i drop the dread 1 loota squad and the deffcoptas. Or 4 trukks if I drop a loota squad and deffdread
