Ok so with the whole 'immobilized turns into wrecked result' does that mean on the table? Does that then mean that if its caused by a melta weapon, bloodstike missile, anything with an AP1 rating, it becomes vehicle destroyed - exploded? Because the squadron rules force it from immobilized to wrecked, and then you add the +1 from AP1? Or do you add the +1, it becomes wrecked, and the whole point is moot?

Not sure when it'd come up or be an issue, just wanted to know. Cheers

I wish I had time for all the game systems I own, let alone want to own...

On moon miranda.

Basically, if you penetrate a vehicle in a squadron with an AP1 weapon and roll a 3, the AP1 will make it immobilized and the immobilized will change to destroyed, if you roll a 4, the AP1 takes it to a 5 and the immobilized result is bypassed straight to destroyed anyway. It doesn't go "immobilzed=destroyed, then +1". At least, I've never seen it applied that way

Basically, the "immobilized=Destroyed" is the last thing you apply.

IRON WITHIN, IRON WITHOUT.

The correct pronunciation is Imperial Guard and Stormtroopers, "Astra Militarum" and "Tempestus Scions" are something you'll find at Hogwarts.

Righto, its just because they don't say what order it is, AP1 first or the squadron rule changing it first.
Cheers

The squadron rules change the results on the damage table. You need to add and substract all modifiers that apply before you know the result.

Basically, the Squadron rules change the Vehicle damage table to read,

1: Stunned
2: Shaken
3: Weapon Destroyed
4: Wrecked
5: Wrecked
6: Explodes

AP1 is applied as usual.

This is wrong. It should be:
1: Shaken
2: Shaken
3: Weapon Destroyed
4: Wrecked
5: Wrecked
6: Explodes

The 2 bits you had wrong are:

1) Normally Shaken is #1, and Stunned is #2.

2) Vehicle Squadrons reduce Stunned to Shaken.

I only had to bring it up because it is easy to miss, and that is the 1 benefit they get: effectively a 15 point discount per model, since you no longer need to purchase Extra armor(only 10 for Orks and their Armor plates)
