My friend plays Cryx and uses eGhaspy for the most part. He does a silly little move where he runs his bone jack halfway across the field then arcs Caustic mist. For those of you who dont kno off hand the first part states, "Place a 3in AoE anywhere completely within this models control area" The range on this spell for a cost of 2 is control, which on ghaspy is 14 inches. Now can one arc a spell with control through an arc node? It sounds pretty rediculous to have basically another origin of the spell like that. Take pkreoss Lamentation, where its another control area spell. Could I arc that spell and upkeep it through the revenger so anywhere that the revenger goes it basically the origin 14 inches from the node?

I kno you cannot cast self spells

It just seems goofy to have a spell with essentially 26 inches of range, cuz the bonejack runs 12 then spits a 14 inch spell. If ghaspy can do that then Any warcaster with control speel can do this?

please clear this up for me. Thank you!

p. 75, definition of Control Area.

"This model has a control area, a circular area centered on this model with a radius that extends out from the edge of its base..."

When you channel a spell that is RNG CTRL, you can still
count it as channeling (hello, Thorn), but the actual effect
can never change distance because the RNG CTRL is based
on the 'caster no matter what. Warjacks don't have CTRL
areas, and they are not casting the spell, so therefore you
base the area on the 'caster.
