This game was kind of crazy. It was really a game of trial and error for both of us since neither of us are familiar with playing against each others armies...it was very interesting. Hop you enjoy.

Seeing my Tervigons and Hive Guard made me realize something...I need to paint up the rest of my army, hahaha.

Also, I think you should have used your speed against me. There's no way I can keep up with a 36" movement. Although I guess I did have stuff on the other side of the board, too...we'll just have to play again, hahaha.

Nice Batrep guys. With GK why not run Draigo and Libby instead of inquisitors... they are not really all that.. IMHO.
For the Eldar player... Maybe get rid of all the scatter lasers on the vehicles and consider using Shuriken cannons - They are cheaper - Strength 6 3 shots AP5 vs S 6 4shots AP 6. With the extra points possible running a few serpents with missile launchers or bright lances so that the vehicles have a chance on Dreads or vehicles if you can not hit them from behind, If concerned with the range on the Shuriken Cannons - 24 vs 36 most of the time you are running all over the board so the range is not that big of deal anyway. Just trying to come up with ways to optimize your killing. You don't have any heavy hitters that can stick around, except for FPrisms. Your Dragons are usually one hit wonders. If the vehicles can destroy the enemies vehicles you can use them to destroy termies and dreads or just regular troops. Every thing in a mech eldar unit has to be able to do many tasks in a game. If it can not you will lose. Hopefully with whispers of a new codex in summer 2012 in 6th edition we will actually have some cheaper units so that we can field more stuff. Good luck man... cheers.

Mr. Farseer you got your threads mixed up lol. As far as me running the same exact cookie cutter stuff everyone else does.. honestly...no thank you, i think i even said that in the vid at the end.I can win without running Cheese wing. The only reason them Cheap inquisitors are there is for the psyconades.

Sorry when I clicked the link it took me to the battle against grey knights. I just tried it again and it went to the wrong thread. sorry about that.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
BTW if your tank gets immobilized on your turn going flat out it is not only destroyed, but your troops inside would have been instakilled. So those firedragons in turn 1 would have been dead.

With the nid game. I would have not worried about the genestealers too much and kept mobile. Try to alpha strike when you can. If you hit the genestealers from range they will drop, just don't get close. Don't worry about the big guys concentrate in KP games at taking out the easily killed squads. That tervigaunt kep kicking out babies, wipe them out each time. Easy kill points and she just keeps pooping them out. I would not even try to kill her unless she gets close to give yourself something easy to shoot at. The flying HQ I would have concentrated on if it got close to you and you could not evade it. Other than that, he had nothing that could move fast, so just keep everything on the move. Bikes with warlocks with Destructor just rock against nids. So do Shuri cannons and scatterlasers. Fire prisms are great with their big pie plate, just keep them moving. I hear you on the rolls, I seem to roll like crap most of the time, no matter what dice I have. Hopefully the DAkka dice I bought will help. Cheers and great bat reps.... Please keep them coming. I also like your tactics talk at the end of the game. Cheers.

@Eiluj thanks a ton for giving me some, what should have been obvious, tips. Its one of those things that I get caught up in the game and lose a lot of the obvious strategy. You are 100% correct on ignoring the MCs and just blasting the free KPs every turn. Also, with the Genestealers, I was thinking the same thing after I had already starting moving to the one flank. After that though I felt committed to the tactic so decided to stick with it.

@Marshalldin yeah man you shouldn't have sold your eldar. Their a blast to play...a bit hard to master, but their sweet.

Thanks a ton guys for the comments and I'm glad to see people are enjoying the vids. More to come!

Guys, take a look at time mark 9:45. The FireDs are in combat with gaunts, but you hadn't finished the "Pile In" moves. Sometimes it matters. Anyway, each model seeks to be in b2b, so after die rolls and morale checks, if the combat goes on, any models not in b2b need to be moved up.

Bad_Sheep: Except for the FDragons & FPrisms, I'm wondering if your list simply doesn't have enough dakka. ScatLas on your WaveS are okay, but not like a set of WarWalkers with 2 each, Guided.

You might consider one WaveS out and beefing up each DireA unit.

And the table looked better for more terrain.

Great batrep, if not game.

To BadSheep - Keep rockin' the Eldar, we have to stick together, with an old list and everybody playing GK, BA, or Space Wolves, we have to try our hardest with what little we have. Cheers and keep the bat reps comming. Good times.
