Friends coming up with a tournament. Thinking of using this army, what do you guys think? My friends play: 1x SW TWC spam, 2x SW razor spam, 1x SM Vulken termy list, 2x DA Deathwing, 2x DE Ravager and venom spam, 3x Ork Horde Spam, 1x Mech Guard, 1x fateweaver user, 4x Tyranid termagaunt/tervigon spam.

225 infantry, 30 Meltagun, 26 Missile Launchers, 4 Lascannons.

This initially looks really scary but actually won't be.

What are your tactics?

You can't move with the missile launchers so I'm guessing you'll sit back, and you have no combat ability.

Read up on "power blobs" and find out how to make a footslogging list like this REALLY scary...!

Also, missile launchers are sub par. And put your heavy weapons in heavy weapons squads so your men can move.

Yeah... no Creed, no HWSs, no Commissars and a start zone packed with guys at BS 3. The pie plates will be drooling.

Lots of flashlights though...

I have fired at a BA marine assault squad with 52 'flashlights' and I may have killed a single guy because of BS 3, Str 3, Power armor, and FNP.... in that order.

He doesn't even have enough Orders to do FRF, SRF, so he is just hoping for the best and rapid fire. For IG, that is not enough.
