Take a look at these guys and tell me what you think. Do the new models make you want to collect them?

New characters are too gold and dynamic imo, but I will paint them without gold.

New flayed ones... meh. Actually no, just plain good old no.

The iimmortals look pretty cool. I'm sad about the end of spyders and wraiths though

I like to imagine the Emperor kills so many Orks that he ends up half buried beneath a pile of corpses, with only his head sticking out. A lone grot stumbles across him, and starts choking him.

Then Horus comes across the lone grot, somehow managing to kill the Emperor, and punts it into space.

There is no end to spyders and wraiths they just haven't released the models in this wave!

I may build an army depending on how the codex stacks up. The models look really nice.

Really like the models. Won't be collecting crons, but it has nothing to do with the models, which I think are superb (except for flayed ones and the lords as has been mentioned).

The models look nice.

Flayed ones in failcast? No. Just no. Looks like I won't be getting any of them.

Definitely. I especially like the Deathmarks, even if they're not overwhelming rules/stats-wise. Quite fancy the Overlord too. The tanks are growing on me, almost at the point of "yeah, gimme!". But yes, I will finally collect Necrons. I was told to wait when I started the game this time last year, and now here they are

I'm tempted to, I've already, a decent size force, but the new stuff makes my current list rather bad. i played a destroyer wing with a lot of ground troops. and now destroyers got nerfed ( in both weapons and squad counts).
So i'm up in the air about it, as i could probably sell the army and expand my chaos by quite a bit.

I like all of it apart from the guys with the shields...
I like the look they're cool and such but they seem a bit odd.

If I were going to jump on Necrons, I'd probably do them the same way I played my two games of Necrons before: Wraithwing. I'd throw in 3 monoliths, as many wraiths as I could, minimum warriors, a destroyer lord, and I'd add in the Stormlord for his awesome rules. That should get me by. Or maybe two units of wraiths and scarabs. Use all old models except Stormlord. Wraiths are rumored to be a helluva lot better (rending!!), warriors are cheaper, monoliths are cheaper (though not as good) and it wouldn't cave to the "buy our new models, cause old ones suck, Derp Derp."

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.
