Whiteshield Conscript Trooper

Ever since starting the 40k hobby in '06 I've had a love of the DKoK but only of recent have actually started one. To motivate myself (and attempt to post more here), i want to start this blog. My army is loosely based off the Krieg Regiment (186th) from the book "Dead Men Walking" (which i would highly recommend). Thus far i don't have much, but i am slowly building up a force. Here is some of what i have done.

(Sorry for the low quality pictures, need to get a good camera)
Company Command Squad

This is the only thing i have painted in this army, and even its not done, and i'm still not completely sold on the colour scheme. I like the standard Krieg colours trying to replicate it as closely as i could but im still not sure about it.

Grenadier Squad

And then waiting in the wings......

Still need to clean and assemble this Infantry platoon.

from here i plan on buying another infantry platoon(or 2) to have a bare bones army that i can play, then add in Heavy support and heavy weapons then go from there.

Hope you guys like them

Very nice paint job on the CCS End! Hopefully we'll get to see more of the infantry squad painted and done up. I'll be subscribing to this P&M
